Introduction to the Teaching Zoo

The Teaching Zoo at Moorpark College is a unique educational facility that combines learning with hands-on experience. It’s a place where students and visitors can engage with a variety of animals, fostering a deeper understanding of wildlife conservation and animal behavior.

The tigers are fed a diet of raw meat, which is sourced from local farms. The retreat also offers educational programs about tiger conservation. ## A Glimpse into the World of Tigers at Rajah’s Retreat Rajah’s Retreat is not your typical zoo. Here, visitors have the unique opportunity to observe tigers in an environment that closely mimics their natural habitat. This innovative approach to animal care and conservation offers a deeper understanding of these majestic creatures.

Their journey to the San Diego Zoo was fraught with challenges, including a harrowing escape from a truck and a near-fatal encounter with a wild boar. Despite these obstacles, Neil and Karma’s bond grew stronger, and they quickly became a hit with visitors.

The event was a fundraiser for the non-profit organization, Concert for the Cats, which aims to provide medical care and adoption services for homeless cats. The concert featured a lineup of talented musicians, including Grammy-winning artists, local bands, and emerging artists.
