The Wildlife Festival, an annual event organized by Cobb’s Exotic Animal Rescue, is returning to Abbotsford, BC, after a highly successful debut last year. This year’s festival promises to be even bigger and better, featuring a diverse range of exotic animals from all corners of the globe. The festival will take place at the Ag-Rec Centre from July 11 to 13, with three exhibits showcasing a variety of animals that can be found in different parts of the world. The second exhibit, Depths of the Jungle, will feature animals that can be found in the jungle, including sloths, snakes, and other tropical critters. The third exhibit, Diversity of Living Things, will showcase a variety of animals that are similar and different, including kangaroos, sugar gliders, toads, and many more. In addition to the exhibits, the festival will offer a range of activities and experiences, including:
* A quiet hour for those with sensitivities, where noise and crowds will be greatly reduced from 10 to 11 a.m. on Saturday, July 12
* An adults-only section, which takes place from 7 to 9 p.m. on the first night of the event, featuring trivia, comedy, education, and more
* A VIP experience, which includes a 30-minute guided tour and other bonus experiences, for $150 per person in advance
The festival will also offer a variety of ticket options, including:
- Families can purchase a family rate of $18 per person, with a minimum of four people
- Adults-only night tickets are available for $26 in advance or $30 at the door
- General admission tickets are $16 in advance and $20 at the door, with kids three years old or younger able to get in for free
- VIP tickets are $150 per person in advance, including a 30-minute guided tour and other bonus experiences
