📈 Pet Weight Tracker

Keep a running log of your pet's weight, see the trend and percentage change at a glance, and check it against a target and healthy range — all saved privately in your browser.

Log a weight to start tracking the trend. Entries are saved in this browser only.

Weight is the earliest warning sign

Many exotic pets instinctively hide illness, so a change on the scale is often the first thing you notice before any outward symptom. Weighing on the same gram scale, at the same time of day, turns fuzzy impressions into a clear trend you can act on.

Pair this with the Pet Food Calculator to adjust portions when the trend drifts, and the Pet Calorie Calculator to reset targets for a growing, ageing, or recovering animal.

❓ Frequently Asked Questions

How do I use the weight tracker?

Enter a date and a weight and tap Log weight for each measurement. The tool sorts entries by date, draws a sparkline, and shows the net change in kilograms and as a percentage. Add a target weight and an ideal min/max range to see how the latest reading compares.

Where is my data stored?

Entirely in your own browser, using local storage. Nothing is sent to a server, so your log stays private on that device — but it also won't sync between devices, and clearing your browser data will erase it. Export or screenshot anything you need to keep.

How much weight change is worth worrying about?

For small exotic animals, even a few grams can be significant, so weigh on a gram scale and watch trends rather than single readings. A steady, unexplained drop or rise — often flagged as more than about 10% — deserves attention.

Can this diagnose a problem?

No. A weight trend is only one clue and these are general estimates. Sudden loss or gain can signal illness, so have any unexpected change assessed promptly by a qualified exotic or wildlife veterinarian.
